Nisa Istiani, SH., M.LI, Our President Director, is a highly qualified Legal Researcher. She has vast experience in the development sector, especially in Judicial and Legal Reform.
Started her work as a researcher at Indonesia Court Monitoring Society University of Indonesia (MaPPI FHUI), she further works at the Judicial Reform Team Office, Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia helping the Supreme Court to implement its blueprint for reform before moving further to work at various international development organizations, such as justice sector projects funded by IMF-Netherland, USAID, AusAID, and EU-UNDP.
She also did research projects for various government agencies such as Ombudsman, National Procurement Agency, and Corruption Eradication Commission.
Her expertise includes Business Laws, such as bankruptcy law reform, competition law, gender mainstreaming, project monitoring and evaluation, and mediation.
She holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Indonesia and a Master of Law Institution from the University of Wisconsin, USA. As a Fulbright Fellow, she is currently doing her Ph.D. on Competition Agency Reform at University of Washington, USA.
