Wiwiek Awiati, S.H., M.H., is a senior Advisor for Judicial Reform at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, where she advises the court leadership on implementing the judicial reform blueprint and reform in general.
She has a longstanding background in Legal and environmental reform. Her interest in accelerating better access for the poor and marginalized groups and environmental issues has led her to be involved in several advocacy activities and institutional engagements.
She previously served as Executive Director of the Indonesian Center for Environmental Law (ICEL) and participated in the National Board of WALHI (Indonesian Friends of the Earth). Later, she was appointed a member of the Supervisory Board at MaPPi FHUI (Indonesian Judicial Monitoring Society), and in 2014, she joined the TIFA Foundation as a managing board member.
